The recorder is optimized in recording sounds. However, depending on the microphone used and the recording environment, background noises can creep in. We understand this is annoying and hence suggest the following steps BEFORE you start recording:
- Record in a relatively quiet room.
- Right-click on the Player and select the "Settings" item from the pop-up menu.
- Go to the tab with the microphone icon on it and adjust the slider while speaking so that the audio levels reach the yellow area on the indicator with only occasional or no peaks reaching red.
- Once you have a stable result, close the settings dialog.
