1) What is Vaestro?
Vaestro is an audio driven discussion site. You can come here and listen to other people's discussions or create your own discussions and let others comment on it.

2) How is Vaestro organized?
Vaestro is organized into Channels, Forums and Topics / Discussions.

3) What is a Channel?
A Channel is a place holder for all your forums. Each channel can have many forum.

4) What is a Forum?
A Forum is a place holder of Topics (or Discussions as some like to call it) related to each other logically. For e.g., a forum named "Movies I like" should contain discussions on movies you like. You are encouraged to name your forums as descriptively as possible within 30-40 characters for best result.

5) What is a Topic / Discussion?
This is just what it means in english - a discussion. You start a discussion on any topic you want and give your views on it and then let others give their views on it. You can start a discussion on just about anything you want to as long as it doesn't promote racism, terrorism, drugs etc. in which case the discussion could be removed from Vaestro upon being reported against.

6) OK, I am now ready to start a discussion. Let me create a Channel first.
STOP! Based on what we have seen till date, we would recommend you to go through the following checklist before creating a Channel:

• You have a LOT of things to discuss on a variety of items in various fields.
• You want a place where only you and your friends / family will discuss stuff.
• You want to create a community of like-minded people who will want to create forums and topics inside your Channel.

7) I have only a "few things" to discuss. What should I do?
You do not need to start a whole new Channel for a "few discussions". What you can do is search for existing Channels or topics and try to find an appropriate discussion where you can let your views known. Some quick hints for achieving that are mentioned below:

• Check the category bar at the top and look for a category which interests you. Upon visiting it, you will find many Channels which deal on that subject.
• You can also do a search for the topic you want to discuss HERE.
• Still no luck? Search for an existing Channel HERE which has similar topics to the one you want to discuss. Use the most likely keywords which come to your mind. Most likely you will find something to your liking.

8) I am stubborn and want to create a Channel for 1 topic only!
Be our guest :). We will not stop you from creating a Channel even if it is for a single topic only.

9) I am now ready to create my Channel / Forum / Topic. How should I do it?

10) I have created my Channel but where is it? I can't view it. Help!
You can find your newly created Channel HERE. Click on the "Administration" link next to it to enter the admin panel and manage your Channel as desired.

11) I have started a few discussions in my new Channel. Now what?
It is no fun talking to oneself most of the time! You have to make your Channel popular and we suggest you invite your friends and family to your Channel HERE. Keep on starting new discussions and sooner or later people will start commenting on them :).

12) How can I ensure only a select few people can view my Channel?
You would have to opt for a Private Channel in this case, the cost of which is $4.99 a month. You can find the link to privatize your Channel from your Channel admin panel.

13) What benefits do I get in a Private Channel?
The benefits are as follows:

14) What is this audio guestbook thing?
An audio guestbook is a place where users can leave you voice messages. The link to the audio guestbook is present on your profile page which can be viewed by everyone. Visitors to your profile can open your audio guestbook and leave a message for you to listen to later on.

15) How can I create and link my audio guestbook to my profile?
Follow the steps given below:

• If you are a Channel owner then create a topic in any one of your forums and record a nice introductory message about yourself.
• If you are NOT a Channel owner then create a topic HERE. We have allocated this forum just for audio guestbooks. Record a nice introductory message about yourself.
• Once you are done recording the new topic, save it and close the window.
• Refresh the parent window to see your audio guestbook post appearing in it.
• Click on it to open the Vaestro Player again and copy the url present in the address bar.
• Go to your profile page HERE and paste the url into the "Audio Guestbook" section.

16) I have a query not listed here. What should I do?
